She owns Sacred Being LLC in Pueblo and is a founding member of Rooted Relations Healthy Community Initiatives and a member of SOAR (Storytellers of the Ancestral Red Road). RedDove’s family and ancestral roots are Purépecha- Michoacán, Picuris, Chiricahua-Bedonkohe Apache, Basque-Iberian/ Celtic-Irish peoples. RedDove has worked with communities in Denver, Colorado Springs and Pueblo in a wide variety of services. She is a community organizer and community gardener, a trained street medic and police accountability citizen overseeing social justice marches and rallies in her time up north. She was awarded special recognition from the COS Department of Veterans Affairs in co-running an aspect of the substance abuse treatment program helping Veterans in their recovery. RedDove completed the Indigenous-Analytical psychology 13 Moons program for women, which uses a blend of traditional earth-based ceremony and ritual with psychology. As an Initiate of the program, she offers community ceremony and ancestral healing. She is an active member in the southern Colorado and South Dakota Native American communities.

Vanessa began learning about earth medicines from her grandmother and great grandmother in the mountains of New Mexico at 9 years old. Vanessa has cultivated a rich and diverse background in healthcare and holistic practices, integrating her indigenous roots with modern therapeutic modalities. From nursing to earth medicine guidance, her journey is a testament to the power of ancestral wisdom and contemporary healing methods. With her extensive training and dedication to inclusivity, Vanessa is a grounded support for individuals seeking profound experiences and holistic well-being.
As an Indigenous woman credentialed in Mindfulness Based Earth Medicine Guiding, Vanessa supports individual’s direct experience of the sacred through ceremony, ritual, and spiritual connection. Inviting in practices and ceremonies held for generations allows an opportunity to celebrate, give gratitude, or prepare for various struggles or difficulties in life and death. Returning to ancestral knowledge and earth-based practices creates a conduit of transformation from fear to awe, pain to beauty, and anger into gratitude. Working with Vanessa, you’re invited to return to traditional knowledge restoring connection to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing through rematriation.
Vanessa received her practical nursing education through Concord Career Institute in Denver, CO, and has taken advanced nursing courses through Colorado State University – Pueblo and the University of Phonenix. Vanessa completed MAPS MDMA Therapy Training Program, Ketamine Nurse Guide Training through KetaMD, advanced training in Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Therapy through the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness and is a Kambo practitioner trained through Kambo Frog Detox. She has completed 50+ continuing education hours as a Cannabis Nurse educator supporting individuals exploring Cannabis as medicine.
